The President of The Lao People’s Democratic Republic Mr. Thongloun Sisoulith is paying a State Visit to Mongolia at the invitation of the President of Mongolia Mr. U.Khurelsukh on June 11-12, 2024.

Today the President of Mongolia U.Khurelsukh and his spouse L.Bolortsetseg officially welcomed President Thongloun Sisoulith and his spouse Naly Sisoulith at Sukhbaatar Square.

Upon a report of the Commander of the State Honor Guard, national anthems of the two countries were performed. President Thongloun Sisoulith inspected the Guards of Honor after the Heads of State of the two countries paid tribute to the State White Banners.

The two Presidents greeted the Mongolian and Laotian delegations as well as Heads of Diplomatic Missions in Mongolia and representatives of international organizations present at the Official Welcoming Ceremony.

After the Official Welcoming Ceremony, Presidents U.Khurelsukh and Thongloun Sisoulith paid tribute to the Statue of the Great Emperor Chinggis Khaan, and President of The Lao People’s Democratic Republic Mr. Thongloun Sisoulith signed the Book of Honored Guests at the State Palace of Mongolia.
