H.E. Mr. Ganbold Dambajav, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Mongolia to the Republic of India and H.E. Mr. Ibrahim Shaheib, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Maldives to the Republic of India signed the “Agreement between the Government of Mongolia and the Government of the Republic of Maldives on Mutual exemption of visa requirements for holders of diplomatic, official and ordinary passports ” in Delhi on August 17, 2023.

Mongolia and the Republic of Maldives established diplomatic relations on August 11, 1985. Within the framework of the agreement,  all type passport holders of the two countries will be able to travel without a visa for up to 30 days, and it will be pivotal for the further development of relations and cooperation between the two countries.
