UNICEF REPRESENTATIVE TO MONGOLIA MR. EVARISTE KOUASSI KOMLAN PRESENTS HIS CREDENTIALS

Mr. Evariste Kouassi Komlan who is assuming his duties as the Representative of the UNICEF to Mongolia, presented his Letter of Credence to H.E. Ms. B. Battsetseg, Foreign Minister of Mongolia, on 9 December 2021.

Minister for Foreign Affairs Ms. B. Battsetseg noted that throughout the years, UNICEF has been making valuable contribution in achieving Mongolia’s social and economic goals, especially in protecting the children’s rights and expressed her sincere appreciation for UNICEF’s support to the Government’s efforts and measures in response to COVID-19 pandemic.

UNICEF Representative to Mongolia Mr. Evariste Kouassi Komlan exchanged views on continuation of the successful projects such as reducing maternal and child health risks related to air pollution and enhancing internet capacity in schools implemented by the UNICEF in Mongolia.

UNICEF Representative to Mongolia Mr. Evariste Kouassi Komlan is a Togolese national, who specializes in water, sanitation and hygiene management. He has worked previously in countries such as Myanmar and Madagascar in addition to working as a Regional Advisor for Water, Sanitation and Hygiene at the UNICEF East Asia and Pacific region in Bangkok, Thailand.
