On March 10th, 2021, Minister of Foreign Affairs Batmunkh Battsetseg held a video conference with Nigel Adams, UK Minister of State for Asia at the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office. The meeting focused views on enriching the Mongolian-British relations with economic content, increasing trade turnover and diversification of Mongolia’s exports. The two sides exchanged views on bilateral cooperation in the fields of defense, culture and education. They further discussed collaboration within international organizations, including the United Nations, and mutual support during its elections.
During the video conference, the Ministers also touched upon the prevention of the spread of the pandemic, ways and means of mitigating its socio-economic impact, as well as the supply and roll-out of the vaccines.
