On March 25, 2021 Minister for Foreign Affairs Batmunkh Battsetseg received Borbála Obrusánszky, Ambassador of Hungary to Mongolia, and exchanged views on bilateral relations and cooperation.
At the beginning of the meeting, Foreign Minister B.Battsetseg briefed on the vaccination progress as well as the Government’s goal, policy and measures undertaken to tackle the pandemic.
The two sides touched upon broadening collaboration in the field of agriculture, culture, education, and strengthening economic ties.
Minister B.Battsetseg highlighted that the Government of Mongolia attaches high importance to completing the Biokombinat renovation project as scheduled. Moreover, the parties discussed ways of broadening its cultural cooperation, particularly in the film industry, historical, archeological and cultural heritage.
The two sides exchanged views on strengthening their cooperation within the UN and other international fora as well the exchange of mutual support during the elections of international organizations.
