Ms. Izumi Nakamitsu, the United Nations Under-Secretary-General and High Representative for Disarmament Affairs gave a lecture on the topic “Global and Regional Disarmament at a Crossroads: Challenges and Opportunities for the Future” at the National University of Mongolia for researchers and students as a part of her working visit to Mongolia. Around 50 students and researchers participated in the lecture.

Ms. Izumi Nakamitsu, the United Nations Under-Secretary-General and High Representative for Disarmament Affairs participated in the Eighth International Conference of the Ulaanbaatar Dialogue on Northeast Asian Security held on 15–16 June 2023 at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia.
