The delegation headed by Mr. Baasankhuu Purev, Deputy Director of the Department of Multilateral Cooperation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia, participated in the 7th North-East Asia Multistakeholder Forum on SDGs held on 20-22 November 2023 in Beijing.
The delegation addressed ongoing challenges in SDGs implementation in Mongolia, focusing on the Second Voluntary National Review and the progress of SDG 16, while Ms. Urantsooj Gombosuren, Chairperson and General Coordinator of the Centre for Human Rights and Development, and Mongolia’s CSOs network on the SDGs, provided insights into CSO perspectives on SDG implementation.
