The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia and the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of the Republic of Slovenia had the Second political consultations on May 31, 2024 in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia.

Mr. Ankhbayar Nyamdorj, State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia, and Mr. Sanja Stiglic, State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of the Republic of Slovenia, co-chaired the political consultations.

During the consultations, two sides discussed the current bilateral relations as well as international and regional issues and exchanged views on further developing cooperation in the fields of political, economic, trade, forest management, tourism and education.

Mongolia and the Republic of Slovenia established diplomatic relations on February 18, 1993 and last year celebrated their 30^th anniversary of diplomatic relations.
