Upon the invitation of the President of Mongolia Tsakhiagiin Elbegdorj, Park Geun-hye, the President of the Republic of Korea is paying an Official Visit to Mongolia on July 17-18, 2016.

The President of the Republic of Korea Ms. Park Geun-hye has started her Official Visit today, after having attended the 11th ASEM Summit in Ulaanbaatar.

The honored guards were formed when President Park Geun-hye was welcomed by President Elbegdorj at the Chinggis Khaan’s Square. Then the President Park Geun-hye paid tribute to the statue of Chinggis Khaan.

Following the welcoming, the Presidents will hold tete-a-tete meeting and bilateral talks and will host press briefing.

On the sidelines of the visit, the President of the Republic of Korea Ms. Park Geun-hye will hold meetings with the Speaker of Mongolia’s Parliament and the Prime Minister. Also, the President is scheduled to attend the Mongolia-South Korean Business Forum and meet with South Koreans residing in Mongolia.
