The 12th International Congress of Mongolists, focused on “Pax Mongolica and historical experience” was held on August 10-12, 2023 under the auspices of the President of Mongolia, Ukhnaagiin Khurelsukh. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Institute of International Studies, Mongolian Academy of Sciences successfully organized branch section on “Mongolia’s relations with outside world” of the Congress for 3 days. During the branch section, Mongolists from Mongolia, Russia, China, the United States, Japan, and the Czech Republic engaged in fruitful discussions on a wide range of topics. A total of 26 presentations were delivered, covering various aspects of Mongolia’s foreign world and relations. The final report of the section was presented during the closing plenary session on August 13, 2023.
