On May 20, 2022, Mongolian students of the People’s Friendship University of Russia (RUDN) participated in the youth festival “I have a foreign friend” and presented an exhibition on the history and culture of their country.

RUDN students’ promotional campaign of Mongolia and national culture was continued by Mongolian students of the Plekhanov Russian University of Economics at the International Food Culture Festival “A Taste of the World” on May 25, students of the Moscow State University of Linguistics in the “Cultural Festival” on May 27, and students of the Moscow State University of International Relations in the “National Food Day” on May 30, 2022.

In addition to offering a variety of national dishes, the students introduced the participants and guests to Mongolian history and culture, answered their questions, and had a lively conversation.

These events are traditionally held every year, and this year, for the first time, second-year Russian students of the Mongolian Language Translator Faculty at the Moscow State University of Linguistics participated in the “Cultural Festival” alongside with Mongolian students.

Mongolian traditional “Biyelgee” dance performance by Gunel Kulieva, a second-year student of the Mongolian Language Translator Faculty, and a harmonica song performed by N.Bolormaa, a preparatory student, at the concert of the “Cultural Naadam” were very much enjoyed by viewers.
