The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia is concerned about the escalation of the armed conflict in Nagorno-Karabakh, the loss of lives and the tendency of expansion of the scope of the conflict, which seriously affects the territorial integrity and principles of inviolability of internationally recognized state borders of countries.

We call on the parties to immediately cease fire in order to resolve the issue peacefully on the basis of common international norms and principles through dialogue.
