The State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs N.Ankhbayar received Ambassador Mohinder Pratap Singh of the Republic of India to Mongolia on 28 November 2023 upon completion of his duties.
State Secretary N.Ankhbayar commended Ambassador M. Singh for his substantial contributions in advancing and broadening the Strategic Partnership between Mongolia and its “spiritual neighbor” India as well as successfully implementing major projects, which would be etched in golden letters, during his tenure as Ambassador of India to Mongolia.
Ambassador M.Singh expressed his gratitude to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and other relevant organizations for their constant support and close collaboration in expanding cooperation in the fields of politics, security, defense, mining, digital development, education, religion and culture during his tenure in Mongolia.
The Indian Ambassador was instrumental in the donating the first Covid-19 pandemic vaccine from India, implementing an Oil Refinery project with a concessional loan from the Government of India, establishing a Cyber Security Center and launching a Center of Excellence for Information Technology, Communication and Outsourcing project. Moreover, the Ambassador played a key role in commencing the construction of the Mongolia-India Friendship School in Ulaanbaatar.
During the meeting, State Secretary N.Ankhbayar presented Ambassador Singh with the “Golden Gerege” from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs as a token of appreciation, and extended heartfelt wishes for success in his future endeavors.
