STATE SECRETARY N. ANKHBAYAR MET WITH THE COUNTRY DIRECTOR OF PEACE CORPS MONGOLIA

State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs N. Ankhbayar met with Country Director of Peace Corps Mongolia Earl Miller on April 30, 2024.

During the meeting, Mr. Earl Miller expressed his pleasure in being appointed as the Country Director of Peace Corps Mongolia. He thanked the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for its continuous support of Peace Corps Mongolia’s activities and pledged his commitment to increasing the number of volunteers and broadening the U.S. Peace Corps activities in Mongolia.

State Secretary N. Ankhbayar underscored the significance of the Peace Corps activities on English language education and welcomed more English teacher volunteers, which is one of the Mongolian Government’s priorities, as well as stressed the importance of concerted efforts from both sides in increasing the number of Peace Corps Volunteers.

Currently, 36 volunteers are working on English education and community development in Ulaanbaatar, Darkhan, Erdenet cities, Arkhangai, Dornod, Uvurkhangai, and Khentii provinces.
