On June 14, the President of Mongolia Tsakhiagiin Elbegdorj has arrived in Naypyidaw for a Working Visit to the Republic of the Union of Myanmar. At the welcoming, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Mongolia to Myanmar T.Tugsbilguun and from Myanmar side, Minister of Natural Resources and Environmental Conservation Ohn Win and other officials were present.
In the scope of the 60th Anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Mongolia and Myanmar, the President of Mongolia is paying a Working Visit to Myanmar from 14-16 June, 2016.
During the visit, President Elbegdorj will hold official talks with the President of Myanmar Htin Kyaw and hold meetings with the State Counsellor and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Myanmar Aung San Suu Kyi, Minister of Planning and Finance of Myanmar Kyaw Win, Minister of Natural Resources and Environmental Conservation Ohn Win, and Governor of the Central Bank of Myanmar Kyaw Kyaw Maung respectively.
On the sidelines of the visit, a workshop themed “Proper Management for Exploitation of Natural Resources-2” and Mongolia-Myanmar Business Meeting are scheduled to be held. The Business Meeting will attract many representatives from both sides and will let them study business and investment environment of the two countries and explore new opportunities.
During the visit, the both parties will exchange views on intensifying bilateral friendly relations and cooperation, enhancing the mutual political trust and collaborations between public organizations, strengthening relations in trade, economic, mining and other spheres and discuss issues of cooperation in the international arena.
