H.E. Mr. U. Khurelsukh, the Prime Minister of Mongolia, who is paying an official visit to the United States, met Mr. Jim Yong Kim, the President of the World Bank, on September 20, 2018; and exchanged views on the cooperation between the Government of Mongolia and the WB.

Prime Minister U. Khurelsukh thanked the leadership and staff of the World Bank for almost 30 years of cooperation; and its contribution to the development of the Mongolian economy.

World Bank President expressed his satisfaction with the successful implementation of the related programs and policies, which resulted in the reviving of the Mongolian economy and efficacious performance of the WB program.

Prime Minister underlined that the Government of Mongolia is attaching a great importance to the expansion of the “Mongolia Economic Management Support Operation” into successful second phase.

Also, the Prime Minister committed to intensify the program of cooperation between the Government of Mongolia and the World Bank, keep economic growth stable and increase the inclusiveness.
