On August 26^th Mr. N.Ankhbayar, State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia, received H.E.Mr. O Sung Ho, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea to Mongolia. Ambassador O Sung Ho extended his congratulations to Mr. N.Ankhbayar on his appointment as the State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia and wished success in his future endeavors.

State Secretary N.Ankhbayar noted that he is looking forward to work closely with Ambassador O Sung Ho to further develop traditionally friendly relations and cooperation between Mongolia and the DPRK as well as strengthen ties between Ministries for Foreign Affairs of the two countries.

Ambassador O Sung Ho expressed his commitment to further expand historically friendly relations and cooperation between the two countries, the foundation of which have been laid down by many generations of our leaders, for the interest of the peoples of the two countries.

The parties also discussed the implementation of the planned bilateral visits and activities upon stabilization of the situation with “COVID-19” pandemic.
