President of Mongolia U.Khurelsukh, who is paying a State Visit to the Republic of Uzbekistan, was officially welcomed by President of Uzbekistan Sh.Mirziyoyev at the Kuksaroy Presidential Palace.
The visit commenced with a ceremonial reception where the national flags of both countries were raised, and the Guard of Honor of Uzbekistan was lined up.
President U.Khurelsukh was invited to the podium by President Sh.Mirziyoyev, where the national anthems of both countries were played. Following the inspection of the Commander of the Guard of Honor, the Heads of State greeted the official representatives of both sides.
A commemorative photo of President U.Khurelsukh, his spouse L.Bolortsetseg, President Sh.Mirziyoyev and his spouse Z.Mirziyoyev was taken marking the occasion.
Following the welcoming ceremony, President U.Khurelsukh and President Sh.Mirziyoyev will hold official talks and attend the signing ceremony of bilateral documents.
The Kuksaroy Presidential Palace, also known as the “Blue Palace”, was built in 1990 on the initiative of the first President of Uzbekistan I.Karimov. The Palace serves as an office for the everyday work of President Sh.Mirziyoyev, and is used for receiving foreign Heads of State and other honorary guests and holding ceremonial receptions.
