PERMANENT REPRESENTATIVE DELIVERED AN OPENING STATEMENT FOR UNCTAD’S CAPACITY BUILDING WORKSHOP ON BETTER COORDINATION OF E-TRADE IMPLEMENTATION REFORMS

Mongolian delegation, led by Permanent Representative H.E. Ms. Gerelmaa Davaasuren are participating the UNCTAD’s eWeek under the theme of “Shaping the future of the digital economy” from December 4-8 in Geneva.

Today, on the fourth day of the eWeek, Permanent Representative H.E. Ms. Gerelmaa Davaasuren delivered an opening statement of UNCTAD’s capacity building workshop under the theme of “Towards better coordination of eTrade implementation reforms”.

The workshop is attended by development partners and the Government representatives from countries that are implementing e-commerce reforms with the assistance of UNCTAD.  The eTrade Readiness Assessment of Mongolia was conducted with the assistance of UNCTAD and was finalized this year.
