OPENING CEREMONY OF THE MONGOLIAN PAVILION AT THE 60TH VENICE BIENNALE OF FINE ARTS WAS HOSTED

The opening ceremony of the Mongolian Pavilion at the 60th Venice Biennale of Fine Arts, hosted in Venice, Italy, took place on April 18, 2024. Her Excellency Ts. Narantungalag, the Ambassador of Mongolia to Italy, delivered the opening remark.

The Biennale often referred to as the “Olympics of fine arts,” showcases the distinguished participation of Mongolian sculptor A. Ochirbold, presenting his masterpiece titled “Discovering Present from the Future.”  Her Excellency Giovanna Picarretta, the Ambassador of Italy to Mongolia, Honorary consuls of Mongolia Mr.Paolo Bonetti and Antonio Paone, and other distinguished guests have participated at the opening ceremony. At the 60th Biennale, pavilions representing 88 countries have opened and attracting the participation of esteemed artists, art historians, critics, and representatives from over 50 international media.
