Mr. Gombojav Zandanshatar, Chairman of the State Great Hural of Mongolia, met with Mr.Park Byeong-Seug, Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Korea on September 9th, 2021 in Vienna, Austria.
During the meeting, Chairman G.Zandanshatar having noted that Mongolia and the Republic of Korea are strengthening “Comprehensive partnership” in all areas of cooperation, commended joint celebration of the 30th Anniversary of the establishment of Diplomatic Relations between the two countries last year.
The two sides while underlining the importance of high level visits and dialogues in further strengthening the bilateral relations, pointed out the importance of the upcoming virtual summit between H.E. Mr. U.Khurelsukh, the President of Mongolia, and H.E. Mr. Moon Jae In, the President of the Republic of Korea.
Furthermore, both sides expressed their mutual support for the “Northeast Asia Cooperation Initiative for Communicable Disease Control and Health Protection”, initiated by the President of the Republic of Korea, as well as the “Ulaanbaatar Dialogue on Security in Northeast Asia”, a Mongolian initiative, and agreed to work closely in those areas.
The Chairman of the State Great Hural while expressing interest in holding regular exchanges of visits between legislative bodies and parliamentary friendship groups of the two countries, invited Speaker Park Byeong-Seug to pay a visit Mongolia at a time of his convenience. Speaker Park Byeong-Seug having expressed his appreciation for the invitation extended his invitation to the Chairman G.Zandanshatar to visit the Republic of Korea in the near future.
