The Minister for Foreign Affairs of Mongolia B.Battsetsegheld a meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan B.O.Saidov on 23 June 2024 in Tashkent.

At the beginning of the meeting, Foreign Minister B.Battsetseg expressed her gratitude to Foreign Minister B.O.Saidov for his all-round cooperation and support to the ongoing State visit of the President of Mongolia U.Khurelsukh to Uzbekistan on 23-26 June 2024 at the invitation of the President Sh.Mirziyoyev.

The historic State visit is one of the outcomes of the talks held between the two Foreign Ministers during Minister B.Battsetseg’s official visit to the Republic of Uzbekistan in 2023.

Furthermore, Foreign Minister B.Battsetseg underlined that the official opening of the Mongolian Embassy in Tashkent is a clear indication of Mongolia’s commitment to the further deepening and strengthening of friendly relations with Uzbekistan, an important partner of Mongolia in Central Asia.

The parties reaffirmed to continue working closely with each other to further intensify the friendly relations between Mongolia and Uzbekistan and enrich the mutually beneficial cooperation with economic content.
