H.E. Mrs. Sosormaa Chuluunbaatar, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Mongolia to the Argentine Republic, met with officials of the Ministry of Agroindustry and the International cooperation agency of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Worship of Argentina to discuss potentials for strengthening bilateral cooperation in the field of agriculture. During the meeting, Argentinian side expressed its willingness to provide technical assistance to Mongolia and it would be fully financed by the Government of Argentina. This will open opportunities for Mongolia to learn from rich experience of Argentina in agriculture and, particularly, to implement joint projects in animal genetics improvement, biotechnology, bioengineering, foot and mouth decease vaccination, as well as other interested areas.

Argentina, with highly developed agricultural sector, has rich experience in meat production, leather processing, and organic food exports, and is a foot and mouth decease free country. Argentina has implemented over 200 south-south projects in more than 52 countries only in 2016.
