The Mongolia-Polish business forum was organized in Ulaanbaatar on April 25, as part of the state visit of the President of the Republic of Poland, His Excellency Mr. Andrzej Duda, at the invitation of the President of Mongolia, His Excellency Mr. Ukhnaagiin Khurelsukh.
The Presidents of the two countries, H.E. Mr. Ukhnaagiin Khurelsukh and H.E. Mr. Andrzej Duda, delivered opening remarks to the forum, emphasizing the important role of the public and private sectors in enriching bilateral trade, economic and business cooperation as well as strengthening the mutually beneficial partnership in the coming years.
More than 300 representatives of the public and private sectors attended the business forum that was jointly organized by the Mongolian National Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and the Polish Investment and Trade Agency. The Mongolian side introduced opportunities for investment and joint projects within the framework of Mongolia’s New Economic Recovery policy as well as discussed banking, finance, transportation, and logistics cooperation to increase bilateral trade.
Polish enterprises operating in the field of food supply, agriculture, mining, renewable energy, and information technology made presentations and exchanged views on mutually beneficial cooperation.
A memorandum of understanding on cooperation between the Mongolian National Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Mongolian Business Council, and the Polish Investment and Trade Agency was signed during the business forum.
