The opening ceremony of the “Mongolia-China Friendship Week” organized through September 26-30, 2022, by the Mongolia-China Friendship Association was held today.
During the opening remarks delivered by the State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia, N. Ankhbayar, pointed out in his speech that the comprehensive strategic partnership between Mongolia and China has expanded even during the pandemic, the frequency of high-level mutual visits and meetings has been maintained, mutual trust has been strengthened, and friendly relations between the people are deepening.
Mentioning that Mongolia-China cultural and humanitarian cooperation is an important component of the comprehensive strategic partnership between our two countries, the State Secretary further noted that considering the situation of the epidemic, work to start exchanges between citizens in the most suitable way has begun.
State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia, N. Ankhbayar, Chinese Ambassador to Mongolia, Chai Wenrui, Member of Parliament, Deputy Chariwoman of the Mongolian-Chinese Parliamentary group in the Parliament Kh.Bulgantuya, Head of Mongolia-China Friendship Association, G.Batsukh, past Ambassadors from Mongolia to China, researchers and members of the Friendship Association were also in attendance.
As part of the Friendship Week, events such as photo exhibitions, book launches, round table discussions, and best article contests will be organized in Ulaanbaatar, Ulgii, and Hovd.
