H.E. Mr. Munkh-Orgil Tsend, Minister for Foreign Affairs of Mongolia, will pay an official visit to the United States of America on June 12-14, 2017.
During the visit, sides will exchange views on continuing high-level dialogues, discuss the practical ways to expand the political, commercial, trade and investment cooperation as well as developing the cooperation in other fields, and strengthen the ties.
Minister Ts. Munkh-Orgil will hold talks with Mr. Rex Tillerson, US Secretary of State, Lt. Gen. H.R. McMaster, National Security adviser, Mr. Matthew Pottinger, Asian Affairs Senior Director of the National Security Council, Congressman Peter Roskam, Chairman of the House Democracy Partnership of the US House of Representatives, Co-chairs of Mongolia Caucus at the Congress, heads of the Millennium Challenge Corporation and the Peace Corps.
Within the margins of his visit, Minister will attend the Fourth US Trade Mission and the Investors’ Roundtable meeting, organized by the American Chamber of Commerce Mongolia). He will update the participants on the measures and policies taken by the Government of Mongolia to improve the country’s economic situation; to stabilize the legal environment for foreign investment; and to restore foreign investors’ trust. The event is expected to be attended by over 50 enterprises, including American companies with investment as well as keen to invest in Mongolia; and Mongolian entities, which are willing to promote commercial relations with the U.S.
