At the invitation of H.E. Mr. B.Munkhjin, Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs of Mongolia, H.E. Dr. Rajkumar Ranjan Singh, Minister of State for External Affairs of India is paying a working visit to Mongolia through November 23-26, 2021.

Today, Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs H.E. Mr. B. Munkhjin and the Minister of State for External Affairs of India H.E. Dr. Rajkumar Ranjan Singh held official talks, during which they have exchanged views to further consolidate Mongolian-Indian Strategic Partnership. The two sides also reviewed the progress of joint projects and discussed wide range of issues of bilateral cooperation in the field of security, trade, economics, science, technology, education and culture. During the meeting, the two Deputy Ministers shared the views on international and regional issues of mutual interest.

The two sides agreed to further collaborate for successful implementation of the oil refinery project, which stands as the symbol of Mongolian-Indian Strategic Partnership relations, and to continue efforts on carrying out the pilot shipments of mining products, such as coking coal, to be exported to India.

Within the framework of the visit, the delegation led by the Minister of State Dr. Rajkumar Ranjan Singh will have a scheduled meeting with government leaders of Mongolia as well as with H.E. Mrs. B.Battsetseg, Minister of Foreign Affairs and H.E. Mr. G.Yondon, Minister of Mining and Heavy Industry.
