H.E. Battsetseg Batmunkh, Minister for Foreign Affairs of Mongolia, received Sanja Stiglic, State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of the Republic of Slovenia, on May 31, 2024.

Minister Battsetseg highlighted the active relations and cooperation between Mongolia and Slovenia in recent years, emphasizing the importance of the political consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs for further broadening the bilateral relations.

During the meeting, both sides discussed the relations and cooperation between the two countries, as well as the upcoming World Women’s Forum to be held in Ulaanbaatar in August. They highlighted the significance of Slovenia’s participation in this event.

 Additionally, it was discussed that Mongolia imports approximately 20 million euros worth of pharmaceutical products annually from Slovenia’s “KRKA” company, accounting for about 20% of Mongolia’s total medicament consumption.
