On November 15, 2023, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia Ms. B.Battsetseg met with the Honorary Consul General Mr. Tjandra Gozali of Mongolia in the Republic of Indonesia.

During the meeting, Minister B. Battsetseg emphasized the significance of strengthening traditional friendly relations with Indonesia is one of the key objectives of the foreign policy of Mongolia and expressed her deep appreciation for the contributions made by Honorary Consul General T. Gozali towards fostering friendly ties and enhancing trade and economic cooperation between Mongolia and Indonesia.

Minister suggested to promote Mongolia in Indonesia through various initiatives, organize joint tourism events, and art and culture exhibitions to showcase the rich cultural heritage and traditions of both nations in line with the announcement of The Government of Mongolia of 2023-2025 as the “Years to Visit Mongolia”. In this context, the Minister Ms. B.Battsetseg urged Honorary Consul T. Gozali to continue to pay attention to the promotion of creative arts.

Mr. T.Gozali has been serving as the Honorary Consul General of Mongolia in Indonesia since 2009. His contributions extend to supporting the education of Mongolian students in Indonesian universities, actively promoting Mongolia in Indonesia, and supporting the activities of the Mongolian Cultural Center in Banten Province.
