On November 23, 2021, Minister of Foreign Affairs Mrs. Battsetseg Batmunkh received Deputy Marshal (Deputy Speaker of the Parliament) of the Sejm of the Republic of Poland Mrs. Malgorzata Gosiewska.
During the meeting, the two sides exchanged their views on ways and means of expanding bilateral relations and mutually beneficial cooperation. Foreign Minister Battsetseg Batmunkh highlighted that the re-opening of the Polish Embassy in Ulaanbaatar this year, has given impetus to further deepen the bilateral relations and cooperation. She also expressed her confidence that the Consular Section at the Embassy to serve Mongolian citizens would be in operation soon.
Deputy Marshal, visiting Mongolia for the second time, reiterated her commitment to the strengthening of the bilateral relations with Mongolia. She also expressed her keen interest to further expand and develop bilateral cooperation in many sectors, including mining and geology as well as private businesses.
