The Minister of Foreign Affairs Mrs. Battsetseg Batmunkh received Mr. Pak Myong Ho, Vice- Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, who is paying an official visit to Mongolia, on 10 March, 2024. The Foreign Minister expressed her confidence that the visit will make an important contribution to strengthening and developing the traditionally friendly relations and cooperation between the two countries.
Vice-Minister Pak Myong Ho expressed his appreciation for his first visit to Mongolia, noting the solid foundation laid by previous leaders of state and government of the two countries, and conveyed the sincere greetings of DPRK’s Foreign Minister Mrs. Choe Son Hui to Foreign Minister B.Battsetseg.
Minister B.Battsetseg expressed her gratitude to DPRK’s Foreign Minister Mrs. Choe Son Hui for attaching great importance and delivering a greeting at the Female Foreign Ministers’ Meeting held last year in Ulaanbaatar. To this note, she cordially invited DPRK’s representatives to attend the 9th International Conference on Northeast Asian Security “Ulaanbaatar Dialogue” as well as the World Women’s Forum to be held, respectively, this year.
During the meeting, the parties reaffirmed their eagerness to continue the steady development of the traditionally friendly relationship and cooperation and underscored that last year the sides solemnly celebrated the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries as well as 35th anniversary of the visit by DPRK’s President Kim Il Sung to Mongolia
Also, the sides agreed to take practical action measures in resuming and intensifying the collaboration in the education, culture, sport, agriculture, health and humanitarian fields, exchanging visits at all levels and intensifying the constructive cooperation.
