On July 21, 2020, H.E.Mr.N. Enkhtaivan, Minister for Foreign Affairs received H.E. Mr. Abdullah Al-Tuneiji, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United Arab Emirates to Mongolia. Ambassador Abdullah Al-Tuneiji handed over a letter from His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the United Arab Emirates, congratulating the Minister on his appointment as the Minister for Foreign Affairs of Mongolia. Minister N. Enkhtaivan acknowledged the letter with appreciation and reciprocates his greetings.

Minister N. Enkhtaivan expressed his satisfaction with the active development of bilateral cooperation between Mongolia and UAE in recent years, and thanked the Emirati side for its support in protecting the environment and improving the learning environment for young children. Furthermore, the Minister noted the importance of further expanding bilateral trade and economic cooperation.

The Ambassador highlighted the UAE is a strong economy and expressed its readiness to share its technology and innovation achievements. He further supported the Minister’s proposal to enrich bilateral cooperation with economic substance, and expressed interest to collaborate in commencing direct flights between the two countries, and increase trade and investment opportunities.

Minister N. Enkhtaivan appreciated the Ambassador’s cooperation proposal and congratulated the Emirati side on the successful launch of the Mars mission yesterday.
