H.E. Mr. Tsogtbaatar Damdin, Minister for Foreign Affairs met with H.E. Mr. Mohammad Faisal Al Mutairi, Ambassador of the State of Kuwait to Mongolia on 21 November 2018 in connection to his presentation of the Letter of Credence.
Ambassador conveyed greetings of H.H. Sheikh Sabah Al Khaled Al Ahmed Al Sabah, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of the State of Kuwait to the Minister D.Tsogtbaatar and expressed his delight to represent his country in Mongolia whom it enjoys friendly and close relations. He expressed his willingness to broaden the bilateral cooperation in the field of economy and fully utilize the existing potentials of cooperation in cultural and educational sectors, and proposed to hold the Second Intergovernmental Commission between two countries in 2019.
Minister D.Tsogtbaatar expressed his pleasure for the appointment of a seasoned diplomat to the country and asked the Ambassador to focus on expanding the bilateral cooperation in the fields of economy, trade, investment, environment, infrastructure, road and transport. He also highlighted the possible cooperation within the “Road and Belt” initiative. Furthermore, he expressed his desire to cooperate on training experts in the field of oil in Kuwait and encouraging the junior diplomats who come up with innovative ideas and research in the field of promoting global peace and introduced his initiative of “Peace, Prosperity, Progress and Promise award”.
