Minister of Foreign Affairs Battsetseg Batmunkh meets Wang Yi, Member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee, Director of the Office of the Central Commission for Foreign Affairs and Minister of Foreign Affairs of China on the sidelines of the 60th Munich Security Conference.
During the meeting, the parties emphasized that this year marks the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations, the 30th anniversary of the signing of the Treaty of Friendship and Cooperation, and the 10th anniversary of the comprehensive strategic partnership between Mongolia and China. They further expressed their satisfaction with the successful development of relations and cooperation in all spheres.
In addition, both sides agreed to attach great importance to the implementation of infrastructural projects that will pave the way for the intensification of trade and economic cooperation between the two countries.
Furthermore, the ministers highlighted that the exchange of high-level visits have been instrumental in the development of bilateral relations and expressed their commitment to maintaining the frequency of high-level visits in commemoration of the historic anniversaries that are to take place this year.
