H.E. Mr. Badamdorj Batkhishig, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Mongolia to the Republic of Turkey, met with the members of the newly formed Turkish-Mongolian parliamentary friendship group of the Grand National Assembly (parliament) of the Republic of Turkey on May 5, 2016.

Mr. Mehmet Erdogan, MP and the chaiman of the group, introduced the members of the group as well as actions planned to be implemented in the short run.

Giving a brief information about political, economic and social development of Mongolia, ambassador Batkhishig talked about bilateral relations between Mongolia and Turkey and answered to the questions asked by the Turkish parliamenterians.

The Turkish-Mongolian parliamentary friendship group of the Grand National Assembly of the Republic of Turkey was formed in March 2016 and is consisting of 20 members from 3 parliamentary parties.
