Ambassador Ariunbold Yadmaa met with Madame Kathleen Donohue, Acting Assistant Deputy Minister for Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada, on November 10, 2021, and exchanged views on the perspectives and potentials for expanding food and agricultural cooperation between Mongolia and Canada and organizing the third meeting of the Joint Agriculture Committee (JAC) established in 2010.

The two sides noted that this consultative mechanism for cooperation in the food, agriculture, and food industry sector, which is an important component of trade and economic partnership between the two countries, is essential for implementing the “Mongolia – Canada Roadmap for Comprehensive Partnership” and significant for outlining the general direction of the visits and joint activities for the coming two years.
