On February 10, 2024, the Consulate General of Mongolia in Ulaan-Ud, Republic of Buryatia of the Russian Federation hosted a celebratory event on the occasion of Lunar New Year of Mongolia.

Members of the People’s Khural of the Republic of Buryatia, Government officials and other esteemed guests from different organizations joined the event, during which an exhibition featuring Mongolian customs and traditions, folk music and dance, traditional costumes, games and calligraphy were showcased.

Mongolian traditional game of making a turtle with ankle bones was taught to the children living in the Consulate General’s district.
