Joınt meetıng of the Mongolıan-Turkish Chamber of Commerce and Industry Forum was held online on July 27, 2020, under the chairmanship of Mr. Ersin Kaska and Mr. Boldkhet Sereeter, the Co-Chair of the Mongolian-Turkish Chamber of Commerce and Industry Forum. ​H.E Ahmet Yazal, Ambassador of Turkey to Mongolia and H.E Ravdan Bold, Ambassador of Mongolia to Turkey participated as keynote speakers with a speech.

Over 40 Mongolian and Turkish tourists, meat export, leather processing, pharmacy companies joined the online meeting. Mongolian side proposed to implement the Darkhan leather complex project, to cooperate in halal meat export to Turkey, to buy poultry equipment and learn from its technology know how. While as Mr. Ersin Kaska voiced the decision of the Turkish side to invest and cooperate in leather processing field, and expressed readiness to collaborate in tourism sector and other fields of mutual interest.

Participants noted that the two sides have been talking for many years, yet there has not been much improvement in bilateral trade relations and they are anticipating positive changes with the joint chamber of commerce launching. Although the decision to establish joint chamber of commerce was made in 2013, it was launched only in 2020. The trade turnover in 2019 has reached 44 million USD.
