Ministry of Foreign Affairs has organized the “Information hour” today and informed following:

H.E. Mr. Tsakhia Elbegdorj, President of Mongolia, will pay an official visit to the Republic of Cuba on 15-18 September 2016 upon the invitation of H.E. Mr. Raúl Castro, the President of the Council of State and Council of Ministers of the Republic of Cuba, and will participate in the General Debate and the High level segments of the 71^st session of the UN General Assembly in New York on 19-24 September 2016. President Ts.Elbegdorj will work in Philadelphia on 23 September.

Upon the invitation of H.E. Mr.Miyegombo Enkhbold, Chairman of the State Great Hural of Mongolia, H.E. Geoff Regan, Speaker of the House of Commons of Canada, paid an official visit to Mongolia on 15-18 September 2016 and the “Agreement between Mongolia and Canada for the Promotion and Protection of Investments” has been signed during the visit.

H.E. Mr.Tsend Munkh-Orgil, Minister for Foreign Affairs of Mongolia will participate in the high level events of the 71^st session of the UN General Assembly, including the High-level segment of the General Assembly to commemorate the 30^th anniversary of the Declaration on the Right to Development, the 8th CTBT Ministerial Meeting, the 22^nd meeting of the Governing Council of the Community of Democracies and the 15^th Annual Ministerial Meeting of the Group of Landlocked Developing Countries, and will have bilateral meetings with his counterparts from different countries.
