Delegation headed by His Excellency Mr. Tsengeg Mijiddorj, Permanent Representative of Mongolia to the OSCE has participated in the 30th OSCE Ministerial Council Meeting, which took place in Skopje, Republic of North Macedonia, from 30 November to 1 December, 2023.
The OSCE participating States exchanged opinions on such issues as how to ensure regional security, strengthen human rights and democracy, support economic development, and protect the environment.
On behalf of the Government of Mongolia, His Excellency Mr. Tsengeg Mijiddorj delivered a speech at the Plenary session of the Meeting by presenting the goals and priorities of Mongolia’s Foreign Policy and expressed Mongolia’s position on regional issues. During the Meeting, His Excellency Mr. Tsengeg Mijiddorj had a meeting with some Ministers of participating States as well as some OSCE senior officials.
The 30th OSCE Ministerial Meeting was special because it allowed the participating States to reach a consensus on appointing Malta as the 2024 Chairperson-in-Office and extending the term of office of the four senior OSCE officials for another 9 months.
