HER ROYAL HIGHNESS PRINCESS MAHA CHAKRI SIRINDHORN OF THAILAND GRANTS AUDIENCE TO DELEGATION FROM THE NATIONAL AGENCY FOR METEREOLOGY AND ENVIRONMENTAL MONITORING OF MONGOLIA

On 14 May 2018, Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn of Thailand granted an audience to the delegation headed by Mr. Enkhtuvshin Sevjid, Director-General of the Department of National Agency for Meteorology and Environment Monitoring of Mongolia at Chitralada Villa, Dusit Palace in Bangkok.

In the course of the audience, Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn graciously presented Royal Rainmaking Aircraft Model to the Mongolian delegation, which was followed by presentation made by Dr. Surasri Kidtimonton, Director-General of the Department of Royal Rainmaking and Agricultural Aviation on the Cooperation Project on Royal Rainmaking Technology between the two countries. His Excellency Mr. Tugsbilguun Tumurkhuleg, Ambassador of Mongolia to the Kingdom of Thailand was present at the audience.

The Mongolian delegation visited Thailand from 14 to 18 May 2018 to study extensive expertise that Thailand has accumulated in in rainmaking technology thanks to the Royal Rainmaking Project initiated by His Majesty the late King Bhumibol Adulyadej. The study visit was jointly organized by the Department of Royal Rainmaking and Agricultural Aviation and Thailand International Development Cooperation Agency (TICA) upon the permission granted by the Office of Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn’s Projects. The visit has provided Mongolian experts with opportunities to familiarize with the Royal Rainmaking technology and exchange views on the possibilities of further collaboration between the two sides.
