H.E.  PÉTER SZIJJÁRTÓ, MINISTER FOR FOREIGN AFFAIRS AND TRADE OF HUNGARY PAID A VISIT TO MONGOLIA

On 29 July, 2021, H.E. Péter Szijjártó, Minister for Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary paid a working visit to Mongolia. He had official talks with H.E. Batmunkh Battsetseg, Minister for Foreign Affairs of Mongolia, and had broad discussions regarding bilateral relations and cooperation and exchanged views on international affairs of mutual interest.

Foreign Ministers further agreed to support boosting of bilateral trade and investment as well as collaboration of Mongolian and Hungarian businesses.

Foreign Minister B.Battsetseg highlighted that education is the priority sector of bilateral cooperation and expressed willingness to strengthen collaboration in the field of culture, film making and archeology.

Hungarian Foreign Minister P.Szijjártó informed that Hungarian EXIM Bank has opened a credit line to finance joint projects and programs. Thus, parties agreed to organize webinar between the Chamber of Trade and Industries of Mongolia and Hungary in August 2021.

Further, Hungarian Foreign Minister P.Szijjártó handed over Hungarian Government humanitarian assistance of 33 ventilators – much needed medical equipment in challenging time of COVID-19 pandemic.
