The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia had the second political consultative meeting on September 7, 2022 in Belgrade.
The meeting was co- chaired by Mr. Ankhbayar Nyamdorj, State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia and Mr. Vladimir Maric, Assistant Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia.
The political consultative meeting has a crucial role in enhancing bilateral dialogue and cooperation. During the meeting two sides agreed on fostering the bilateral relations in the fields of trade, economy, investment, agriculture, transport, logistics, health, education, tourism and culture.
In particular, they discussed the efficient implementation of the Agreement on Trade and Economic cooperation between the Government of Mongolia and the Government of the Republic of Serbia and signed the Intergovernmental Agreement on cooperation in the field of education.
Moreover, the sides agreed to conclude a bilateral Agreement on the international road transportation in the near future.
Furthermore, two sides exchanged views on current state of international relations and held a broad discussion on enhancing the collaboration within the UN and other international organizations, including their joint efforts and contributions to addressing global challenges.
