Foreign Minister D.Tsogtbaatar received His Excellency Mr. Raúl Delgado Concepción, Ambassador of Cuba to Mongolia, on October 25, 2017, and exchanged views on the matters of bilateral relations.

            Ambassador Delgado congratulated H.E. Mr. Tsogtbaatar on his appointment as the Minister for Foreign Affairs, and briefed him on the current state of the bilateral relations, particularly the activities and initiatives being carried out within the framework of promoting bilateral cooperation. Cuban side is working in collaboration with Mongolian counterparts to implement projects on supplying medicines designed for hepatic virus and diabetes, and introducing bio-pesticide for rat control, produced by the Center for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology of Cuba.

            Minister D.Tsogtbaatar expressed his pleasure with the growth of the traditional friendly relations and cooperation between the two countries, tested by the years of experiences.

            Diplomatic relations between the two countries were established in December 7, 1960; as such Cuba is the first nation among the countries of the Americas to establish diplomatic relations with Mongolia
