On the sidelines of his official visit to the European Union, Mr. Tsend Munkh-Orgil, Minister for Foreign Affairs of Mongolia met with Mr. Didier Reynders, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Belgium.
At the meeting, the Foreign Ministers reaffirmed the importance of the bilateral ties between Mongolia and Belgium based on the common values and shared interests of democracy and human rights.
The Foreign Ministers discussed the issues of bilateral cooperation and reiterated their interest to deepen all round relations between the two sides with a focus on economic cooperation. The two sides also exchanged views on the topics of common interest concerning regional and international issues and noted their satisfaction with the fruitful development of mutual cooperation in promoting democracy and human rights. In order to intensify bilateral political dialogue, the Foreign Ministers agreed to hold a consultative meeting between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the two countries on a regular basis.
