H.E. Mr. D. Tsogtbaatar, Minister for Foreign Affairs of Mongolia, will pay an official visit to the United States on May 18-22, 2018, and meet US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, members of the U.S Congress, and other US officials to discuss the matters of Mongolia-US relations and cooperation.

During the visit, the Foreign Minister will attend the Second Economic Policy Dialogue between Mongolia and the U.S., the final round of negotiations of the Second Compact Agreement between the Government of Mongolia and the U.S. Millennium Challenge Corporation, and meet with the American business representatives, who are interested in investing in Mongolia.

In the course of the Foreign Minister’s visit, the two sides will be emphasizing on expanding Mongolia-US economic ties and discussing the “Road Map” to expand economic cooperation.

The Minister will also visit prominent universities and research institutes such as, the John Hopkins University, the Hudson University, and the Asia Society to address and meet the scholars and researchers, who are interested in Mongolia and Mongolian studies.
