On July 30th, 2020, Minister of Foreign Affairs Nyamtseren Enkhtaivan received Mr. Philip Malone, British Ambassador to Mongolia. Ambassador Malone congratulated the Foreign Minister on his recent appointment and expressed his readiness to work together to expand and strengthen the friendly relations and cooperation between the two countries.
During the meeting, Minister N.Enkhtaivan thanked the British Government for supporting Mongolians, who are currently residing in the UK, to adapt to the unprecedented circumstances caused by the COVID-19 pandemic and asked for continued assistance and support.
The two sides exchanged views on issues of mutual interest, such as enriching the ties Mongolian and British ties with economic substance, increasing trade, and attracting British investment to Mongolia to produce export products that meet international quality and standards.
