Minister for Foreign Affairs N.Enkhtaivan received today Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Lee Yeo-Hong. Ambassador Lee Yeo-Hong congratulated Minister Enkhtaivan on his appointment and wished success in his future endeavors.
Minister Enkhtaivan expressed his gratitude for the congratulatory letter of South Korean Foreign Minister Kang Kyung-wha and highlighted his commitment to intensify economic, trade and investment cooperation and further enhance the Comprehensive Partnership between two countries celebrating the 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations this year.
He also reaffirmed to continue close cooperation with the Republic of Korea in promoting people-to-people exchanges, protecting rights and interests of Mongolians living and studying in Korea as well as repatriating Mongolian nationals willing to return home and fighting against the COVID-19 pandemic.
Ambassador Lee Yeo-Hong expressed his readiness to make every effort to develop the bilateral relations at the level of Strategic Partnership, maintain the frequency of high-level political talks and create favorable travel conditions for citizens of the two countries.
