FOREIGN MINISTER N.ENKHTAIVAN RECEIVES AMBASSADOR OF INDIA M.P.SINGH

Minister for Foreign Affairs N. Enkhtaivan received Ambassador of India to Mongolia M.P. Singh on 21st of July. Ambassador M.P. Singh extented congratulations to Minister N. Enkhtaivan on assuming his duty as Minister for Foreign Affairs of Mongolia and wished him success.

Minister N. Enkhtaivan appreciated Ambassador M.P. Singh’s effort in expanding Mongolia-India relations, and expressed his gratitude for the congratulatory letter from Indian Foreign Minister S. Jaishankar. Foreign Minister N. Enkhtaivan then requested Ambassador Singh to send his regards to his Indian counterpart.

Both sides agreed to continue the close cooperation in successfully implementing the Oil Refinery Project and initiating pilot shipment for exportation of particular goods to India.

During this meeting, the parties have agreed to set their focus on realization of prior planned high-level visits once “COVID-19” situation alleviates. They have also conceded to co-organize various events within the framework of the 65th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Mongolia and India.

Minister N. Enkhtaivan asserted that he will push his efforts on protecting the interests of Mongolian people during his tenure, and asked Indian side’s support in bringing back Mongolian nationals stranded in India.
