Foreign Minister D.Tsogtbaatar met with the State Minister for Foreign Affairs of State of Qatar, H.E. Mr.Soltan Bin Saad Al-Moraikhi on 2nd of July, 2018.
Foreign Minister has expressed his satisfaction for the active development of the bilateral relations and exchanged views on the bilateral and multilateral cooperation issues of shared interest.
While noting the 20th anniversary of the establishment of the diplomatic relations between two countries commemorating in 2018, H.E. State Minister underlined that there is wide potential to expand the cooperation relying on the mutual understanding and trust built upon these years. Also, he pointed out the significance of establishing a consultation mechanism between the Foreign Ministries of Mongolia and Qatar, and further discuss range of cooperation through this channel.
State Minister will lead the Qatari delegation at the 2nd Asian Ministerial Conference on Disaster Risk Reduction which starts on July 3, 2018 in Ulaanbaatar.
